Potem wersję zmieniono i zdecydowano, że dofinansowaniem będą objęte tylko drugie i kolejne dzieci, które nie ukończyły 18. roku życia. Projekt umożliwia pobieranie dodatku ludziom bardzo bogatym, nawet milionerom, takim jak Janusz Korwin-Mikke i Izabela Łukomska-Pyżalska. Deprecjonuje jednak samotne matki, których dochód ledwo przekracza 800 zł miesięcznie.
